Growth never asks for permission – and neither do we. When we launched The Disrupt Agency, we did it with guts, grit and a Google Doc. What began as a one-woman rebellion against boring marketing evolved into a strategy-first powerhouse led by women with big ideas and bigger ambition.
So why rebrand something already working?
Because good wasn’t good enough anymore. And we’ve never been fans of comfort zones.
The Shift: From Hustle to High-Impact
In the beginning, we built fast. Every decision was fuelled by instinct, late-night Slack messages and a deep love for creative problem-solving. But as our client roster grew, our work matured. Our internal operations scaled. Our team expanded across cities and time zones.
We weren’t just “doing” anymore – we were leading. And it was time our brand caught up.
What Needed to Change
Our old look didn’t match our new edge. It felt like a version of us that had already served its purpose. It wasn’t bold enough. It wasn’t disruptive enough. It wasn’t us anymore.
We needed a brand that spoke the way we speak – with edge, with intent and without apology. We needed a visual language that could hold its own in boardrooms, brainstorms and browser tabs.
One that could grow with us and for us.
What the Rebrand Gave Us
The process forced us inward. We questioned everything: our values, our voice, our visual identity, our client experience. It gave us clarity. It made us sharper. It united our internal team and re-energised our vision.
Most importantly, it reminded us of our why: to solve real business problems with strategic creativity – and to do it with purpose behind every pixel.
What We Learned
- Growth requires shedding skin. Outgrowing something doesn’t mean it failed. It means you’ve evolved. Embrace the version of you that no longer fits – then redesign it.
- Your brand is more than a logo. It’s how you answer the phone, write an email, pitch a deck or build a campaign. Rebranding gave us the chance to realign every one of those touchpoints.
- The best brands are living, breathing organisms. They adapt, expand, contract and evolve. The ones that survive are the ones that know when to let go and when to level up.
So, What’s Next?
We’re not done disrupting – we’ve only just begun. This rebrand was a necessary step in becoming the agency we knew we could be – bold by default, strategy-first, tastefully provocative.
Whether you’re a brand ready to evolve, a business needing a rethink or just someone watching from the sidelines – consider this your nudge.
Growth isn’t always clean. But damn, it’s worth it.
